NanniTote: Interactive Diaper Bag

Task:
Produce a useful, mobile, and comfortable prototype of interactive carryware.
Concept:
96.7 percent of US families with children have at least one employed parent. Hiring a nanny is a common solution to raising children while working, however, many parents worry about their children's unique needs and schedules being accommodated to. NanniTote provides peace of mind for worrying parents and helps maintain structure in their child's daily life.
Ideation and Concept Development
NanniTote uses IR sensors and an interactive app to provide two main functions to parents.
Checklist: Parents can create a checklist for items that will be necessary for their child's day. The bag will notify the nanny if the items are not in the bag.

Schedule: The parent can set a schedule of which items should be used at which times. The bag will notify the nanny when these items should be used.
