Amplifying emotion through meshing portraits
While a picture can speak a 1000 words, I believe that meshing two images can be immensely powerful and speak even greater volumes.

I started by removing uniform line weights at every other instance to achieve the "blinds" effect. After becoming comfortable with the specific weight and frequency of the lines, I played with color to supplement the emotions of the portraiture even more. From there, I experimented with line heights to create waves with the negative and positive space. Lastly, I employed words and a blurry image duplicated to impose a ghostly effect.
