Official opening of the Naameh Power Plant
December 14th, 2016 – Minister Akram Chehayeb, Minister Arthur Nazarian, Mr. Kamal Hayek, Mr. Nabil El Jisr, Mr. Ziad Muhtar, Mr. Maysara Sukkar and representatives of the neighboring villages along with many media outlets, NGOs and civil society members, were gathered in the Naameh landfill at an event that celebrated the official opening of the Naameh power plant, generating enough electricity to cover 7,000 households.
