My personal project to better understand and improve splash photography.
All made with speedlights and homemade light modifiers.
This shot was considered great almost straight out of camera, but I needed to do some LR and PS work. You can see originals below.
This shot straight of camera with no edit
One more shot straight of camera. I composed this one and previous to first image, presented in this project.
Straight of camera with little (contrast, color temp.) to no edit. I composed this shot with come droplets and splashes from other ones to the second image (see above).
All shots were made on Fujifilm X-E2, XF60mm/2.4 (ISO 200, 1/160, F11). Two speedlights Yongnuo YN560-IV, one Nissin i40, with wireless sync. I used slim self made stripboxes as light modifiers, and semi-translucent plastic for background, which I highlighted with green gel on a speedlight.
