Vision of Division is the result of layers upon layers upon layers of transfers.

The base of the print was set using an acrylic transfer of a photograph onto the paper. From there, additional images were selectively layered onto various parts of the image through matte gel transfers, thinner transfers, and more acrylic transfers. Ultimately, the separate images were further merged together using mesh-stamps of white acrylic paint at several important intersections.

The contrasting scenes here point to the wealth disparity in East Malaysia where village kids who are too poor to attend school, follow their parents to work in the market square via carpool while various individuals repurpose school buses to travel across the city.
