"SKÅR", Norwegian for shard, is a humidifier with a design that focus on the interplay between sharp and soft shapes. In addition, instead of hiding the mechanics of the humidifier, the humidifier reveals its inside ever so slightly through semi opaque glass, making it an interesting read where organic and mechanical elements are contrasted.
The ceramic bowl at the bottom functions as a water container. Then, the "shard" draws the water up and evaporates it into the air.
Detail of the wire-termination and the microphone. Oh yes, the humidifier is voice controlled, didn't I mention that? It is voice controlled because of the problem/assignment I was given in the course "Aesthetic 3"
