I began with a base study of a deer skeleton, using that to expand on some creature design. 

I wanted to show very distinctly different creatures while maintaining the exact same base skeleton. The creatures needed to have a different feel, and look like they come from different places. 

I brought one of the designs up to a presentation quality, giving the rough idea of coloring, texture, and environmental feel.
