Motif
A sculptural composition.
This sculptural composition āgrewā from the basic geometric shape of an isosceles triangle. Four three-dimensional variations of this basic shape were created. Multiples of each were created as plaster casts. These units were then positioned at random within a triangular grid system on a wooden base.
The result is a dynamic composition, possibly reminiscent of organic structures (bee hives), dynamic processes (crystallisation) or even mental puzzles (tetris).
