Future Tales - A mix between illustration and information
Future Tales is a project which combines illustration with information design. Every Future Tale is a poster on A2 format which visualizes data, facts or a story with a popular-scientific/geographical background. The mission of this project was to make a poster with a story, a poster that can start a conversation, a discussion or give pause for thought. The illustrations are as important as the information in this project. This project makes it possible for people to buy a poster with a subject of their interest.
Worldwide population growth - This poster shows the worldwide population growth between AD 1 and the year 2015. Every graph shows a period of 400 years, in a isometric view. The x-axis shows the time, the y-axis shows the population growth.
Top of the world - We know Mount Everest as the highest mountain on earth. But which mountain is the second highest on earth? And which one is number 10 on this ranking? This poster shows the top 10 highest mountains on earth.
