These illustrations were created for a typographic storybook assignment for my final year portfolio. I chose to recreate a selection of the original illustrations from Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" using only type, to accompany the first few chapters of the book when printed. I felt that the use of the type to create the illustrations complements the absurd and magical nature of the book, and I loved the idea of the letters of the book falling together off of the pages to create the images.
