Obesity is one of the most un-solving problem around the world. There are many of us suffer from it especially in children age and adult age. It is been known mostly for women, but also men suffer from obesity and overweight as well. Several of us not very familiar with different between obesity and overweight specially in united states. Because of I am one of those who get to experience obesity, I would like to take the advantage of this project and talk about my story and explain what is the different between over weight and obesity in men and women. Also regarding to my infographic or charts I will use, I am aiming to word use map and columns to give better picture for the topic or subject I am try to discuss and show the obesity and over weight different with in male and female gender.
WHY ARE AMERICANS OBESE?
To understand the true size of the American obesity epidemic, we first need to understand what it really means to be overweight. Generally, doctors and nutritionists classify people as either underweight, healthy weight, overweight, or obese. These different classifications are determined by body mass index (BMI), or a measure of body fat based on your height and weight. To get a basic idea, this chart from the CDC approximates what that means for someone who is 5’9” tall.
