Comfort Zone Booklet

Comfort Zone Booklet
This is a small booklet about the importance of breaking out of your comfort zone. I used paperclips to demonstrate the different aspects of what it might feel like to break out of the space where we like to place ourselves to minimize stress and risk. The text is written by Alan Henry.

The red dot on the cover represents our comfort zone. The paperclip is purposefully extending out of the circle. The text inside the two vertical lines also gives a feeling of "staying within the lines".
I like the directness of Trade Gothic Next paired with the well-designed serifs of Baskerville MT pro (light).
I wanted to include fluent elements in the layouts like the turquoise lines that could unify the pages.
I wanted to all of the elements on this page to tell a story about what it feels like to break out of a comfortable place.
After breaking out of the comfort zone, I wanted to include some of the same elements as before, but the pictures are larger to capture a sense of freedom.
The margins and paragraph styles are similar in all of the layouts, but the image placement changes to add interest.
