Visual analysis of Bob Dylan's vocabulary

In collaboration with Institute of computational linguistics "Antonio Zampolli" and ItaliaNLP Lab.
The visualization shows an analysis of the lyrics written by Bob Dylan (years 1962-2015). For each year only the albums whose songs are available on Bob Dylan's official website were analyzed. For each song, the terms used more than once have been extracted, thanks to the collaboration with Institute of computational linguistics "Antonio Zampolli" and ItaliaNLP Lab. For each term the frequency in the text and the category (adjective, noun, verb) have been analyzed. The terms were then grouped into 24 thematic areas, excluding the auxiliary verbs and words not related to a specific subject. The following information are shown for each year: the thematic area of the extracted words, the total frequency of the words for each area, the predominance within a subject of a certain grammatical category and the average number of words for each song.
