The Wick Poetry Center delegated Kent State University’s Environmental Graphic Design class to design an exhibition that will be located in Akron, OH in 2017. This exhibit will create an experience that engages the community of Akron, with focus on refugee and immigrant populations, in an inclusive cross-cultural conversation that fosters a shared human experience through the ability of poetry to cross borders. As a part of the Traveling Stanzas exhibition, our client delegated us each to design posters of multiple dimension illustrating poems written by elementary school students to be displayed.
