This week I spent a day filming in San Fransisco, telling a story about my dad. He was born and raised in Daly City, and he is the first generation Italian to be born and raised in America.  We explored the city and the places he grew up. We went to his favorite places and his first home. It was a cold and foggy morning like usual, but when we reached the Golden Gate the fog began to wear off. And the lighting went from flat to unique, putting texture and color into the bridge.  This is by far one of my favorite photos I have ever taken, and it is an image I will hold dearly as the day I went to the city and learned the story of my dad.
