"CONTRADICTIONS"

My artistic quest deals with studying the contrast between different materials, techniques and objects. In my research I explore the relationships between opposites; the way in which these relationships evolve and degrade; their consequences; as well as the factors, which set them apart or bring them closer. I interpret one part of the philosophy of the dialectical materialism, namely the principle of the interaction between the individual and the world – the fact that they are in conflict, and at the same time they complement and attract each other all at once .

The concept ties up with the discrepancy between expectation and reality. The deep contrast between the visual information, which we receive daily – and based on which we form our view of life, and the real nature of the objects. Also, it is about the pressure, which the surrounding world exerts on us making us leave our comfort zone, sometimes.
