Act of Silence - Comic

Act of Silence is an eight page story set in the 20's, that follows a silent film actor (the likes of Chaplin and Keaton) that remains silent even outside the film set. What leads to laughter at first, then is revealed to be his coping mechanism, for he is a Mexican immigrant and can't speak English quite yet. Through the heartfelt story he learns, however, that actions can still speak louder than words.
Above is the main version of the comic cover, while bellow is a slight variant. The idea is to put us on the main character shoes: isolated, while everyone else is talking and interacting. The second version of the cover strengthens the idea by using scribbles inside the speech bubbles, so we can't understand what they are saying, just like the foreigner actor can't.
Bellow, you can see pages 5-8 of the story, with those classic "oblivious character reading newspaper and escaping death" montages from old cartoons and the heartfelt exasperation of the main character and the conclusion of the story.
