This is a board game cover illustration for a different student in a crossover class project. His game was called "Path To Peace", which is a strategy game that uses a medieval theme and a forest battlefield as the setting. The student wanted a more action detailed scene to the cover as well a medieval aesthetic to the title, thus I redesign the cover by hand drawn before modifying it digitally. It is two player game therefore the foreground cover is two different sided soldiers fighting, and the background is an all out forest battle scene between tow sides, color-wise is simplified into red vs blue split in the middle of the cover. The frames are applied separately and the title is hand drawn calligraphy reminiscent to the Caroline Minuscule style, scanned and applied effects on Photoshop.
