URBAN OUTLAW

Branding

Urban Outlaw Restaurant & Visitor Center

Urban Betyár (Urban Outlaw) is a classy restaurant in the heart of the city center of Budapest.
The á la carte restaurant, VIP meeting room, conference and event halls with their
breathtaking interiors offer an undoubtedly unique food and drink selection.
Their vision is to shed some light on the traditions of Hungarian and international wine, ’pálinka’
and craft beer making, by bringing their finest products to everyone’s table.

Brand concept & Visual identity
Our task was to create a unified visual concept that merges the visual identity of the restaurant, the visitor centerand also the attractions and programs. In order to achieve this goal, we have researched the Hungarian outlaw history, their traditions and customs and we used the details and elements that we thought would fit perfectly to the mood of the restaurant. We applied colors and pictures that were typical of that outlaw era, but we gave everything a modern, rusty touch.
We have designed the whole visual identity, including the logo, pictograms, illustrations, menus, flyers, some parts of the interior, and also we were responsible for their new website. We have developed a special application for the web, with the help of which one can take a 360 degree tour in the restaurant, and take a look at all the rooms and details.
As for the logo, it is a minimalist, one-lined design, a modern version of the outlaw theme. This modern simplicity characterizes the whole visual identity, since the interior is rather stirring and colorful, so we wanted to provide a balance to that.
