After being approached by Brighton & Hove City Council to concept a product that would increase pedestrian safety and improve mortality rates, it was necessary to fully research all areas that can effect road safety and pedestrian behaviour.
The following report is a personal study documenting statistics and issues regarding the pedestrian safety of able bodied members of the UK public. Particular study and attention is paid to the population of Brighton & Hove City.

It was necessary to use design principles and a clear colour strategy to effectively communicate the information. This allows the document to be organised into accessible and useful areas in which comparisons to relevant information can be made.
