“Cross-fertilization of ideas, culture and art is essential for humanity’s growth. ZING’s first group show aspires to open a window into the diverse and creative minds of 15 young Asian Artists working and living in the Bay Area. While these young Artists share a similar cultural context, what makes them distinct is their unique perspective. Bringing 15 of them together in a single exhibition will enable the viewer to experience the world from their point of view, even for a little while.”

About ZING
We are a new generation of Artists from all parts of Asia, now living and creating in the Bay Area. Our individual journeys are unique and distinct, yet we are connected in our experience of having left behind the familiar for the unfamiliar to find and give expression of our unique voice. Our voices come in many forms: loud, subtle, in the middle of the room, on the wall, small, big and projected on a screen. We are ZING.

ZING’s first exhibition features 15 young Asian Artists working across all media including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and experimental films. Each Artist expresses through their medium, a style and vision that represent their unique perspective of the world, while collectively creating a broader story of their shared experience.
About the Gallery
ZING’s first group exhibition will be at the MENAGERIE in Redwood City.
The MENAGERIE is a new independent art space that features local contemporary art with a focus on sculpture.
