Urban Dwelling - Saddar, Karachi, Pakistan.
A 4th year studio project which revolved around designing an urban dwelling with a commercial activity in the form of a cafe on the ground floor. Taking into consideration the design elements of the existing architecture in the area, a relatively contemporary language was developed for the dwelling.

Design Elements. Windows and openings were designed in a way to provide maximum view without compromising on the privacy.
Development.
Plan - Ground Floor. Entrances to the cafe were designed in a such a way that doors acted as seating spaces for the public when the cafe was closed.
