Janus is a name that I really like; some say it is the god who represent the month of January, according to the Roman-Greek mythology, Janus is the god of the beginnings and endings, his temple was opened when big events were about to happen. He is usually represented by a dual character, with two heads, one towards the past, the other towards the future, in other words, one at the beginning and one at the end, he is covering the process of all the events that can happen along a time frame line. This is a short info about Janus, there is much more about him, but I used it to create the first characters you see in this project, the last two came out to keep the flow going with more experimentations on shapes and geometry.

Once again I used the Entagma resourceful online contents and download their python plugin called Dual Graph and it basically allows you to create the nowadays famous Voronoi grid as a channel to create different patterns along with the standard (quad/triangles)regular meshes you usually find in the 3D models.

I simply found it beautiful as a pattern, I like the hex-pentagon cell distribution, it is more dynamic and organic. Once you understand how the plugin works you can go ahead and play with many different features, deformers, extrusions and more from the C4D repertoire.
I hope you like it.
