Bento Box: Bluetooth Speaker

The Bento Box Bluetooth speaker has its roots in the ancient "Bento" a lacquered/decorated wooden Japanese lunch box. These lunch boxes are designed to hold variety and are suitable for sharing - so to the act of coming together and sharing a musical experience through a speaker via Bluetooth.

It employs x2 high quality 6 watt speaker drivers with a passive radiator to enhance bass notes. Its ergonomically considered form allows for ease of use and comfort.

It is quirky yet elegant whilst challenging the status quo of "form follows function".
The Bento Box, although inspired by Japanese design, has a philosophy which is almost the antithesis to that of the Sony Walkman, which also derives its form/aesthetics from Japanese design and lifestyle, yet it  is designed for the individual listener, almost a selfish act of listening to music... the Bento Box on the other hand is designed for sharing the musical experience.
