Our obsession with Roman calligraphy swirls was brought to the fore in this 2016 Chinese New Year gift pack design for KSK. Collaborating with talented local calligrapher Inez Tan, we developed thematic graphics that paid tribute to the Year of the Monkey. Ornate and whimsical, our illustrations of peonies, peaches and monkeys ran across and united a variety of typical CNY items such as ang pow packets, envelope wallets, cards and gift boxes.
