Imbolc Rave
The Brief :
The class was asked to swap a piece of paper that had our birthdays written of it , we was supposed to research our friends birthday to make a poster about it.The day I got was February the first, I found out that my friend shared the same day with a pagan festival Imbolc both Catholics and Pagans celebrate it - it commemorates the achievements of St. Brigid ( a nun who was believed to be the pagan goddess herself) and the beginning of spring. She is the patron of fire , metal , poetry and fertility/health.
Pagans and Wiccans depict her as the Triple Goddess - the maiden , matron and the crone signifying nature and the cycle of life and death.

I put in a Celtic symbol, the Triskelion and the Triquerta which is associated with the goddess , I added
a wavy background to represent fire with mystical fonts for the title which was based on Theban script used by Wiccans.

The goddess is given a medieval style dress which female Pagans wear for spells and magic.
