DESIGN RENDERINGS

Surge Office
In the past, an office workplace was designed for individual activities and focus areas, but with more research showing the need for collaborative workspaces, the entirety of office design needs to be reconsidered. The purpose of this project was to create an office space on the 14th floor of 100 Creek St, in Brisbane  CBD to accommodates for Surge, an app development company which seeks out fresh and innovative businesses to design, adjust and assist in its expansion and performance. Above all Surge stresses the importance of creativity, fluidity and connectivity, in the work environment to enhance working performance. The users need to move through the space with ease and feel connected to each other through the use of a theatrical designed environment.

Greenhouse Juice Bar
Greenhouse Juice & Wholefoods Co. required a redesign of 629 Brunswick cold pressed juice bar, for  consumption of juice on site as well as to sell products over the counter and serve plant- based foods that do not require cooking or deep frying. With New Farm being the site of original farming in Brisbane it seemed appropriate to connect this strong heritage with the present purpose of the building. Our interpretation is a concept derived from the notion of farming, in a luxurious finish to suit the upmarket and professional clientele of the New Farm Location. This has been achieved through the use of high quality finishes and lighting options to create an atmospheric space forming a desire to invest in the high quality product it is intended for. By incorporating aspects of a typical greenhouse structure, we have enabled natural light and shrubbery into the space that invokes the notion of a fresh and ripe product for consumption.

Kuril Dhargun Library Re-design
This project called for a redesign of the Aboriginal section of the state library that responds to the historical significance of the location to aboriginal tribes of Brisbane. In the past, this location was a neutral meeting point for all Brisbane tribes to gather, many having to cross the Brisbane river to reach this point. In this way, my response to the brief, draws upon this cultural story, and transforms the shapes and patterns of the land into sculptural furnishing that allows the users of the space to experience the same kind of journey, both  mentally and physically. Furthermore the space responds to the clients wish of having versatility within the space as it allows for all types of people and age groups to join together and gather as a community.

MAGAZINE LAYOUT

.................................................................................................................................................
Fourward Magazine
*Note: Images and Text are not original work, design layout was the purpose of his project
FOURWARD Design magazine was created as part of a group assignment that focused on exploring the four main disciplines of design; Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture and Industrial Design. The magazine was a prediction of where design was heading in the future years. With this being said an angular, futureistic design becaming the influencing theme throughout the magazine.
My role was to experiment with different layouts, for the discipline of Landscape Architecture that seemlessly merged with the designs of my other group members.
