Artwork 2016 Shirt and Tote Design Contest Entry

Collaboration with Marsh Mitra for the Artwork 2016 Shirt and Tote Design Contest. The theme was "Happy Together". The two of us brainstormed and decided on this concept.

In the tote bag, a hungry street child is shown reaching for imaginary food. People will conclude that he is thinking about himself, but if it is placed beside the shirt design -- which is a bunch of street children eating together while this kid happily watches -- the consumers will begin to understand the story.
