collection of dishes and underplates designed by TuorloDesignStudio
Monreale’15 is a collection of dishes made in glass and underplates made in wood.
The decoration is inspired by the columns of Sicilian cathedral of Monreale.
The concept of the project is to summarize the variety of the decorations made over the centuries by different cultures during the construction of the cathedral for create everyday objects. Monreale’15 affects different senses: the inlays are discovered by blindly curious fingers and the fragrance of the wood tickles the sense of smell.
