For this assignment, we are required to choose a book or magazine that is interesting and develop an illustration for the front and back cover. We will choose 3 promotional item to promote the chosen book or magazine. Hence, I've chosen The Notebook without any hesitation. It is one of my favorite novel as well as movie that I have watched for few times.
The Notebook is actually an American romantic movie (2004) directed by Nick Cassavetes based on a novel (1996) of the same name by Nicholas Sparks. The novel and movie are based on a true story.
The story is told on two levels - one is the present day when Allie and Noah have grown old and live in a home; the other is the story Noah reads and tell the tale from a notebook to a fellow nursing home resident which is Allie. He narrates how he and Allie met, fell in love, lost each other, and then found each other again. The end of their love story is tragically altered by Allie’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis, but even that has no power over their love.
