The definition of the most important symbols for the culture of Lisbon was an important step during the research of the shape of logo and definition of its meaning.

The purpose of the guide is to communicate, plan, localize accros a dynamic fruition of contents organized in interactive layer, using multitouch gestures and navigate between different links and hyperlinks. The purpose is to switch from simple PDF to an sophisticated editorial product, where information is integrated with multimedia content.

MAP DESIGN

I elaborated the map, and I represented every point of interest with an illustration. The route of the digital guide extends into zones of Baixa and Chiado, defined as the center of Lisbon. The map can be enlarged and after a simple touch on the chosen point of interest you will get more informations about it.

Information architecture of the digital guide to bring to the level of a website, where there is a dynamic interaction with users.

The layout of the initial pages and the hierarchy of information in the digital guide is different from the traditional ones. The pages are organized two-dimensionally, switching between the main topics takes place in a horizontal way and to get detailed information you need to navigate vertically.

PHOTOGRAPHY

To capture all the necessary photos and make the filming was essential to study the movements of the sun, the shadows, the schedules and the colors of the sky. All this to get the desired results and transmit the beauty of Lisbon. The photos and video were captured with the camera Canon 700D with 18-55mm 55-250mm, instead timelapse videos and panoramic images were captured with the smartphone.
