"Why have you decided to walk for more than 800 Km?
What's the reason behind? Are you religious?

I'm tired just for walking from my home to the office,
or from the office to the subway...
and those are just 200 meters.

And no, you could never understand, or at least you will never understand until you'll give a try.
Just to let you know the basis of this trip, the "Camino Francès" is an ancient route for pilgrims, one of more, that starts from the Pyrenees, where the mountains left to the people the possibility to pass through them, in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, in France, and continues to the north of Spain, crossing different regions and towns and cultures, like Pamplona, La Rioja, León and the beautiful Galicia, until the magic city of Santiago de Compostela.
Some pilgrims with the strong desire to reach the sea, probably try to finish the path, reaching Finisterre, or Fisterra in the local dialect, that literally means "the end of the world". This was the place where the ancients though there was nothing beyond that endless ocean.
I walked around 775Km until Santiago de Compostela and other 100Km to reach the ocean in Fisterra.

Giusto per raccontarvi le basi di questo viaggio, il Camino Francès è un'antico percorso per pellegrini, uno dei tanti, che parte dai Pirenei, dove le montaglie lasciarono alla gente la possibilità di pasarci attraverso, in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, in Francia, e continua nel nord della Spagna, attraversando differenti regioni, paesi e culture, come Pamplona, La Rioja, León e la bellissima Galizia fino alla magica città di Santiago de Compostela.
Where the thoughts are the only things that you feel, except for your feet and your heavy backpack, all the people that are living the same experience around you, the trees and endless roads that brought you to other roads and other thoughts.
The sea is just 600Km away, the ocean is waiting for you, it's a challenge, you have never walked for so long for 30 days, I'll never reach Santiago, why I'm doing this? why I'm here?

Dove i pensiri sono l'unica cosa che senti, ad eccezini dei tuoi piedi del tuo pesante zaino, delle persone che ti circondano vivendo la stessa esperieza, gli alberi e le strade infinte che ti portano altre strade e ad altri pensei.
Il mare è giusto 600Km più in là, l'oceno aspetta te, è una sida, non hai ai camminato così tanto in 30 giorni, non raggiungerò ai Santiago, perchè lo sto facendo? Perchè sono qui?
The more you walk, the more you think and the more you think the more you feel, free. Your feet stopped to hurt, your back can easily carry your 11Kg backpack, you can wake up early in the morning and sometimes if you know that the day will be really warm you'll wake up before 4 AM. Almost every morning you say good morning to the sun coming up, and good morning to your brothers, walking with you, or before you, or ahead. Bye and goodbye every day.
Why you're who you are? What made you? Your childhood? Experiences? Living abroad, speaking more than one language, recognise the difference between the real and the useless, are all things that connect yourself with the world, the energy is in you and now you know that it is there, waiting to be discovered, to be managed.
All of your experiences are from the past, big challenges are waiting for you in the future, and this is the reason why you're here, walking, discovering the world, discovering yourself, understanding the energy of the world, discovering your energy.
In the end, while at the beginning your aim was to reach Santiago, now you don't want to reach any place, you don't want to stop walking, your life is now too clear, too deep, your days let you do all that a human should do, eat, walk, think, suppose, ask, listen, share.
Now I'm happy, now I know that every story is made to finish and to teach you how to start the next one, I'll never be sad when something finishes because now I know that the best way to let the experiences be with you forever is to let them finish in the best way possible. Don't be sad, smile thinking about your last love.
Here I am, crying, in front the ocean.
This is where I'm from, and this will always be my checkpoint.
The sea.
Sea means to stop, think before, be curious of what's waiting for you on the other side...
...another story obviously, another story to live, better than the last one.
