Save The Prophet "Live and Drunk " Cover Art

This cover art is for Save The Prophet's first album - titled " Live and Drunk", Officially launching this Nov 05 :) Congrats Guys!!!

The idea was to have a superhero-comic inspired look for the members and overall layout. Of course, the artwork also references the songs featured in the album: rocket, planeta, wake and mundo.

For this, I wanted to have that Shinkiro inspired style and feel, which made me decide to finish the artwork fully vector and not to go for digital painting.

The sketch. After a few changes for the layout and character class swap - this was the approved illustration. Next up is to re-draw all the lines in Adobe illustrator.

Each character has to be vectorized separately in case theres any need for re-layouts or solo stills for later use.

The characters have distinct features like having a cigar, tattoo and also subtle mannerisms I noticed based off the band photos. The weapons (and lack thereof) are added to compliment their personalities.

I really like it with white background. I will most likey print this on a white shirt soon.

Final character is up! Ivan's character is inspired by an already existing parody character of him "ensaymada man" and I wanted it to reference that as well but with darker and metallic textures.
