To say I love this band may be an understatement. It was way back in high school when I first heard of Foals. Back then all I knew of them was Cassius and Hummer. As the years passed, my taste in music has changed but they have remained as one of the few bands/artists that I constantly go back to.
I originally just wanted to draw something for a couple songs off the new album so I could channel my excitement for their upcoming Clockenflap performance. I ended up changing directions midway and turned this into a little passion project that I would go back to every now and then during my free time. I took this an exercise in illustration and exploring different textures.

Sleeve illustrations are all of creatures that thrive in the dark, and have their own unique beauty. I wanted them to exude both this silent beauty and a sense of foreboding.
