Il Progetto "Non-luoghi" consiste nello studio urbanistico prima, e sociale poi, attraverso lo strumento della fotografia dell'area ex Manicomio della Provincia di Roma "Santa Maria della Pietà". Analisi visiva dei luoghi, degli edifici (molti dei quali ancora oggi facenti parte del comprensorio ed in stato di disuso ed abbandono) ma anche delle suppellettili ivi presenti, immaginando e "facendo mia" l'impressione data da simili visioni sul posto stesso rispetto alla sua storia, quando l'intera struttura era in pieno utilizzo, e quindi impiegata per curare i malati di mente, talvolta anche presunti tali. Dopo accurate ricerche di materiale, e di video interviste molte delle quali facilmente reperibili in rete, ho pensato di concentrare il mio modo di vedere attraverso un obiettivo su questa parte di storia della città di Roma. Il materiale realizzato nel corso dell'anno 2012, è stato oggetto di proposta relativamente a contest fotografici locali a tema urbanistico sulla città di Roma, e verrà ri-proposto anche in futuro, vista la sua importanza a livello sociale.

The project "Non-places" is to study urban first, and then share, through the instrument of the former Asylum photograph of the Rome Province "Santa Maria della Pietà." Visual analysis of the sites, the buildings (many of which still today part of the district and in a state of disuse and abandonment) but also of the furnishings therein, imagining and "making my own" the impression left by similar visions on the same place with respect to its history, when the entire structure was in full use, and then used to treat the mentally ill, sometimes assumed. After careful research of material, and video interviews many of which are easily available on the net, I decided to focus my way of seeing through a lens of this part of the history of the city of Rome. The material produced in the year 2012, was the subject of a proposal concerning a local photo contest theme urban city of Rome, and will be re-proposed in the future, given its importance for society.
