Inktober is a challenge created by artist Jake Parker in 2009 - the challenge was to do an ink drawing a day for every day of October to improve his inking skills. Since then, a huge number of other artists worldwide have joined him in an attempt to improve and challenge themselves.

Here is a small selection of my inktober drawings for 2016.
All drawings are done on 120gsm A4 paper. Zebra brush pen (s), Faber Castell Ecco Pigment liners, Promarker or Copic Marker.

More #inktober sketches can be viewed on my Instagram.
#inktober day 7 - Lost - When you live on a tiny island and you still don't know which bus to grab to Naxxar.
#inktober day 10 - Jump - A frog doing a competitive long jump.
#inktober day 11 - Transport - My thought process for this one went something like Transport > traffic to the airport > Luqa > monument > Slow > Snails > cockroach wardens

#inktober day 14 - Tree
#inktober day 15 - Relax- Some of us relax by lying down, taking a nap and try not to worry too much, some of us like to furiously down cocktails in a desperate attempt to calm our nerves
#inktober day 17 - Battle - Going for something more quick, classic and gritty here.
#inktober day 18 - Escape - Giant mosquito in a jar, it can't escape.
