Un Sedicesimo (word of Italian origin) is a sixteen-page magazine, where each issue is designed and composed by a different author.
Our task was to design issue nr. 38 of the magazine, and the given brief was to solely focus on a theme that would make the public react.
We created a magazine based on the seven deadly sins: lust . gluttony . greed . sloth . wrath . envy . pride
We have hand made 7 unique collages, illustrating the 7 deadly sins by using the good old cut & paste technique better known as collage. By using paper, scissor, glue & a digital touch each illustration came to life, inspired by the original old paintings of the sins, redesigned to reflect the sins as we see them in today's twisted society.
