The album cover is representative of Shakespeare's play, Hamlet, and the heroine, Ophelia. In the play, Ophelia cannot live up to the expectations of her life and ultimately ends up drowning as an act of suicide. The Lumineer's album is consistent with the theme of not measuring up and by meshing the two together, I created an album cover that tells a story through a polaroid film sequence.
