Desktopography 2016
I have been a part of Desktopography for quite a few years now. What I noticed over the past couple of years is that a lot of the submissions to the exhibition are often very busy. Personally I feel that a wallpaper should be calm so I wanted to create something that is detailed yet very serene. Inspriation for the illustration came from the war paint of several tribes combined with the calm nature of water. The process of the illustration started in Adobe Illustrator where I illustrated the woman and the fish. I later combined all elements in Adobe Photoshop and added the finishing touches.
