AED Cabinet
Bachelor assignment for Twente Hart Safe
This cabinet for a Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) was designed to be placed in the streets of the Netherlands. The colours and striping of the cabinet are similar to the Dutch Ambulances, creating awareness for the importance of the life-saving equipment inside. Where other cabinets are often blocked by bicycles, this design supports bicycles in such a way that the opening is always accessible.
The virtual model has been optimised for production and has been materialised into a scaled model.
