It’s about a masterplan and specific projects for one of the biggest and most complex Favelas ofBrazil, located in Rio de Janeiro.
Within the projects, Rua4 was an example of a successful intervention project. A narrow corridor wastransformed into an effective street with all urban facilities, such as infrastructure,vegetation, urban furniture, where people can transit comfortably and services likeambulances and garbage trucks can circulate. The new project also improved thehabitation quality by permitting air circulation and the sun to get into thehouses.
