Make your ride is a system that encourages people to learn about and assemble a bicycle suited for their daily requirements. It is proposed system that could be employed at bicycle outlets and establishments as a means to promote better understanding of bicycle parts and their variations.

In essence a customer would be able to choose from a variety of parts and assemble their own bicycle. Through test rides at the establishment, the user could place an order for a bicycle with the same combination of parts now custom suited to their daily requirements. The easy assembly bicycle is then dismantled and returned to its display.

The educative part of the system is to help understand the bicycle's components and their specific contributions. Primarily it is focused on the handlebars, wheels and pedals and how they aid in posture, overcoming terrain and make maximum use of input energy respectively.
In order to make the assembly part accessible to people of all ages, I used a variety of modifications such as guide lights and custom joints for quick assembly.
The guide lights are three colours that show progress:
Red-    Disconnected,
Blue-    Attached and in place
Green- Locked

Some conceptual easy-assembly handlebar options using quick release seat clamps
Floor plans and possible customer interaction maps. Generated to show how a customer would interact with the pieces given the positioning of the screens.
