Financial advisors with a practice on Peachtree Road in Atlanta wanted to create a brochure to promote their 'Money Talks' series of seminars. The talks reached out to women the goal being to bring home the importance of proactively taking steps in ownership of their financial futures.
Given financial advisory services are generally not the most attractive topic combined with the serious message of the copy (if you don't start hoarding money now, you will DIE), my design goal was to remain faithful to the tone of the copy while also incorporating elements that would maximize the visual appeal for the target feminine audience. I accomplished this by incorporating bright colors, choosing the 'right' stock photography, a classic design, and a friendly / welcoming typeface and font, I chose Mrs. Eaves for the font which is a favorite of mine and perfect for this design).
