Ballerinas in Brights (Compilation)

When I draw I always take inspiration from my childhood.  I've been dancing for a total of 20 years now and I always find it amusing to observe dancer's movements and lines. Here's a compilation of all the ballerinas I've drawn.
My love for ballet as a theme stemmed from the fact that my ballet teacher was the first one to encourage me to draw comics with my own characters.  The drawings below were my first published work when I was a teen.  Since then, I was encouraged to participate in school magazines and became our organization's editor-in-chief by the time I got to college.
The painting below was a poster I did for our workshop which was held at the place where I used to workout: Plana Forma.
Even if my subjects are not necessarily ballerinas, I always make them pose like one such as in the painting I did for the INK Fest in 2015. More about INKfest here: http://www.googlygooeys.com/ink-fest-color-pop-fair-photos/
