The current American political system is broken and corrupt. Our prior greatness is only now a hint because we have been shredded from the inside. We need people of integrity and ingenuity, those not beholden to sides or money, to emerge from the general population and into leadership roles.

A duplicated eagle (screenshot of Jake Weidmann's "Eagle and Anchor" artwork) was cut into strips and then interlaced to create symmetry and a hint of the eagle's form. The colors of the two parties were painted on, with emphasis placed on non-party nominees in white coming from the people and rising to the top.
