Educational toy for children in the form of a mobile with kaleidoscope drawings on it. The idea was that the colour and music could be changed to set the mood depending on time of day to train a child. Like the concept of conditioning. The drawings on the mobile would however, stay the same. The mobile was to be made out of translucent material so the colours of yellow, red, blue could show through. The colours were there to induce a mood or activity.
Yellow- happy, upbeat
Red- Passionate
Blue- Slow, cooing
Since its a childrens toy the shapes I used were basic: rectangle, square, circle and triangle. The culmination of the music and imagery was supposed to create a sensory experience.
The songs I chose were all from the Jazz genre and Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles were a few of the musicians.
