I thought of a simple project which involve collaborative work between 2 artists, where each of them will draw something within a template of a full circle split into 2. Their artwork is then merged into 1 and the viewer can see the difference in style and concept between them in 1 piece.
The project hasn't entirely kicked off, and while figuring what to draw, I might have been inspired to work on chimp after seeing the new trailer for War of the Planet of the Apes.
I drew the face within the right half of the circle. Once done, I just had a playful thought of duplicating it for the left half, just to see how it looks like. I am partially surprised both side combined almost perfectly (with very little distinct sharp diagonal lines at the center).
Anyway, here is the final piece.
