The aim of the thesis is to question the possibility of a new relationship between the museum institution and the public.
The result is a new model of museum, inspired by the experimentation of collections contained in a box and exposed to the visitor by this different medium.
The thesis is composed of four connected parts:
1. Comprehension of the museum and of the limits of the institution
2. Analysis of four case studies of collection contained in a box
3. Theorization of the new model
4. Design of the prototype for Memb
