Hablemos de Amor (Let's Talk About Love) is a campaign against dating-violence meant to create awareness among teenagers about abusive behavior. We wanted to represent common problems that can lead to an unhealthy relationship, in order to avoid it from an early stage. We believe that learning to identify this damaging conduct will avoid future cases of violence and create happier, healthier relationships, where they are able to make decisions about heir own body and respect each other. Our goal is to encourage teenagers to end abusive relationships and look for professional help.

Because violence is not a matter of sexual orientation, we wanted to be inclusive and represent different kinds of relationships in a friendly and open way, avoiding the usually aggressive campaigns surrounding this topic.

This project was supported by COESIDA Jalisco (an institution dedicated to prevent AIDS and provide advice for young people on sexuality matters) and the University of Guadalajara.

If you love me, prove it.

Pressuring your partner to start a sexually active life is a form of abuse.

Dating violence also affects men. This poster relates to jealousy and physical aggression.

It can be very difficult for people in an abusive relationship to break the cycle.
Double view of a poster for a bus stop. We played with the popular abbreviation T.Q.M. (Te Quiero Mucho, 'I love you' in spanish) on one side, to transform it into Te Quiero Matar ('I want to kill you'), symbolizing how relationships are sometimes two-sided.
