This is his studio, on the cliffs of Gorée Island. Formerly the space for Mustapha Dimé.
Gabriel's words of wisdom about stone and art were incredibly meaningful- for example about stone...stone is one original "something" that is universal for us all in a way, despite difference and distance. Many students of the group worked with him during the trip, learning to weld, making sculptures, printmaking, etc.
